Love the colour of your yarn. The shawl is looking fabulous. I have a couple of skeins I have been holding onto as well. One is camel/silk and the other is buffalo. This pattern might just work for the camel. Thanks for sharing!

A veggie patch is the only thing I miss about living in a townhouse. Although with the amazing work you and Kate have been doing you’re inspiring me to look for clever way for us to grow vegetables in our small space.

Oh my goodness, you are such a talented knitter! Please do not give up! I wouldn’t know how to fix it, as I am relatively new to lace, but I can relate to making mistakes! I am known to have a bit of a blubber when it goes wrong! In fact, I’ve just finished the Leisl cardi, and think I may be having withdrawal symptoms from knitting the pattern. Also, I would love to see your tea-shawl in the show!:)

How wonderful that Alice appreciates what you make for her. I think the Collector Pumpkin Festival might have to get a visit by my grandsons – perhaps next year. BTW, what happened to last year’s pumpkin friend?

Oh I liked that, a lot! Love the cable detail and it just looks like a lovely wearable piece. And the colour really suits you. My first ever cardigan was in Bendy Rustic and I love how well it has worn. Just about cold enough here now for me to go dig it out of storage I think.

My mother always dressed my sister and I alike and we hated it. I didn’t do that to my own kids because I had such unpleasant memories. Until they were all older and I insisted we all wear bluejeans overalls and white t shirts for a photo. They wouldn’t walk around the mall with me since we were all dressed alike! It’s special when they want to look/be like you. The photo of you both together is a great one. I’d frame it and give it to Alice.
